In the blinding light, I regained consciousness. How much time had passed? Who I am, where I came from, and where I am now were all lost to me. Even my sense of direction had vanished. I tried to grasp the thread of sensation that would tell me whether this was reality or a fantasy. I attempted to move something, but there was no response—only a vast emptiness spread out before me.

Then, a sound indescribable in words occurred. It was the sound of light. The beautiful tones of color drew a straight line, dazzlingly capturing my senses.

まばゆい光の中で、私は意識を取り戻した。
どれほどの時間が過ぎたのだろう。
私は誰なのか、どこから来たのか、そして今どこにいるのか。方向感覚さえ消えていた。
私は、これが現実なのか幻想なのかを教えてくれる感覚の糸を掴もうとした。
何かを動かそうとしたが、何の手応えもなく、ただ広大な虚無が目の前に広がった。

そのとき、言葉では言い表せない音がした。
それは光の音だった。美しい色調が一直線を描き、まばゆいばかりに私の感覚をとらえた。
